Biography/Biografia
Acting and Directing Experience
My skills as an actor and director were developed by attending a number of workshops in Poland, including workshops with Bom-Baz Theatre in Jelenia Gora, The Annual Contemporary Dance Workshops in Kielce and Bydgoszcz, in Grotowski Centre in Wroclaw and many others. I studied in The School of Culture Animation in Wroclaw – Theatre and Dance Studies, where I received a thorough training in performing arts and in the basics of directing for theatre. I have collaborated as an actor and director with several theatre groups.
Since moving to Ireland in 2002 I have attended a number of courses and workshops for directors and actors, and facilitated a number of community and youth groups. My skills are continuously being developed by facilitating and devising work with community groups or with students. In the year 2007 I set up a theatre company The Spiral Staircase in Dundalk with which I have worked on three projects experimenting with form, structure and visuality in theatre.
